A Brand Manager manages and develops a brand. They are responsible for creating or maintaining brand value, increasing brand awareness and maintain or establish brand identity through effective marketing, advertising, campaigns etc. They supervise all forms of marketing activities like online or social media marketing, TV ads, Newspaper & Magazine Ads, Package Design, Websites etc.

They work closely with graphic designers, art directors, copywriters, printers, artists, communication designers, visual merchandisers, event managers etc. Brand Managers need to very organized and methodical and have good presentation skills. They should be able to communicate effectively and should be energetic, passionate and self-driven. Here are a few important ­­­job responsibilities which brand manager is expected to perform.
