Their primary goal is to avoid legal complications for a business and the projects undertaken by it.

–          Legal Consultants are responsible for safeguarding the organization from legal complications that could arise or has cropped-up because of a particular business activity.

–          Legal Consultants specialize in particular legal areas like tax, property issues both intellectual and physical, real estate, securities etc.

–          Legal Consultants generally do not have the same responsibilities as other employees in the organization. They are usually left to themselves to oversee legal proceedings and provide sound advice on legal issues.

–          The duties of a Legal Consultant are usually planning, researching, analyzing, problem solving and reporting on various legal matters of great importance for the smooth functioning of the organization.

–          Legal Consultants require time to analyze the problem being faced by the company to make provisions to eliminate the problem and make sure it never comes up again.
