Registered Nurse Job Responsibilities
A registered nurse is a nurse who has passed a graduate level course i.e. has graduated in a nursing program from an accredited institution/ college or university. The registered nurse care for sick people and helps individuals, or families, or groups to achieve health and prevent any diseases. They are employed at a vast number of medical institutions including hospitals, private homes and many other health care facilities. These nurses along with being educated are also trained to perform many of the responsibilities which are a part of their position such as the few samples mentioned below.

- A registered nurse is assigned with the responsibility of creating care plans based on the condition of the respective patient. These plans are individualized i.e. specific to each patient.
- A registered nurse is assigned with the responsibility of administering the medication and the injections/ vaccines that are prescribed to the patient.
- A registered nurse is assigned with the responsibility of monitoring and recording the continuous response and progress of the patients.
