The job responsibilities of a Sales Executive and a Sales Representative are almost similar. They fall under the service sector of an organization. The Sales Executives are responsible for making sales and closing the sale, to prospective and existent clients. The sales executive is responsible directly or indirectly for the growth and development of a product or service in the market.

Sales Executive Job Responsibilities

-          They are responsible for developing a strong relationship between the company and the customer.

-          The Sales Executive should have a good system to maintain all client details for further references.

-          Must be able to recognize the potentials of a customer and accordingly chart out a deal to benefit both the customer and the organization equally.

-          Must have in depth knowledge of the product to be able to explain the pros and cons of the product to a customer and demonstrate the various functionalities of the product.

-          Should be able to negotiate the terms of the sale and close the sale effectively with possibilities of the client coming back to the company.

-          Should be able to analyze the market and develop an effective plan to maximize profit for the organization.

-          Should be able to promote product developments and enhancements or newer upgraded products to the customers.
