Training jobs refers to a position where the individual is assigned one or many trainees. The trainer is required to train the trainees in the respective field. The trainer is responsible for providing them with the general know how and the basic knowledge. Given below is a list of trainer’s responsibilities.

  • The training officer is responsible for accessing the potential and capabilities of the individual who is being trained.
  • The training officer is responsible for also accessing the strengths and weaknesses of the trainee.
  • The training officer is responsible for recognizing the training and development needs of the organization of field in which the training is being imparted.
  • The training officer is responsible for setting up or building training/ development programs based on the needs of the organization/ field as a whole and the individual needs of the trainee.
  • The training officer is responsible for managing the cost of implementation and assistance/ management of the respective training programs.
  • The training officer is responsible for ensuring that the program is implemented properly and is followed step by step.
  • The training officer is responsible for helping the trainee overcome any problems he or she is facing in the course of training.
  • The training officer is responsible for accessing the performance of the trainee and preparing the records at regular intervals.
  • The training officer is responsible for making changes in the training program (even after it has started) in accordance with the needs and growth of the trainee.
